I spied this little class as I was using my zoom lens at the Starbucks by the (Manila) Bay. As you can see, this is a Dragon boat - like the one I posted some months back.
Apparently, there are some people that take these lessons as a form of cheap exercise - you just need to buy your own oar... that 's it. The boats are here and I just don't know the arrangement for getting a group of people together. Anyway, I can imagine the rowing instructor telling them what the proper way of holding and using the oar is. Later, they'll do a slow paced trip - just like the other boat at their background. I doubt they'll do a round of quick paced, racing style, rowing... but who knows? I really did nto stick around to watch them, as I decided to enjoy my Starbucks coffee drink and read a few things I brought with me.
