This was an Accenture dinner organized for the benefit of one if the U2k2 Accenture bigwigs - specifically, Alex (person on the leftmost side), and although the picture does not show it, we were roughly 20 people in the fine dining restaurant.
Yes... even if it were a Monday, this sis not stop us form having some wine and pasta. And yes, this evening gave me an opportunity to observe Alex as he talks to others - and basically see how he 'clicks' - and honestly? He sort of remind me of another Senior exec in Accenture's past (actually called Andersen Consulting back then) - namely Bing Del Rosario. Same flair... same personality - seemingly always on performing - as in performing as na actor playing a part, mode. I could easily see how Alex comes across as likable - yet inside, when he talks business, his consultant mode and more serious savvy side comes out.
Great meeting Alex - whether he knows it or not, he taught me a thing or two.
