Yup, we held our latest gathering - which almost turned out to be a Bacardi night... except for the fact that we had wine (see bottle of white wine on the table?) instead of Bacardi - and what's more is we were prepared for a Bacardi night since we brought two bottles of Bacardi complete with the mixers.
No one bothered to mix the Mojitos, as we were all too busy playing catch up with each other. In point of fact, we were all too full to do some serious drinking. By the way, this was a surprise party for Alex as organized by Gina and Batchie (her name is also Alex, but it cna get confusing as to which Alex I might be refering to, so to avoid this, I will refer to Batchie, as Batchie... while Alex will be Alex. So yeah, I enjoyed - but not too much to go home too late. Nope, I had a Cinderella arrival from this party. Goes to show, I'm getting old for these events... but then again, so are most of the people that Gina invited.
