Angel when asleep:
This is what comes to mind when I see this picture. I stayed home - as I've been rolled off the Unilever project which means, I'm currently resting... and am contemplating to do this for maybe a week. After all, it was tiring to stay in the project with so hectic a schedule - not to mention all the necessary learnings I had to absorb as I got involved with the project.
Let's see - I needed to learn about the client, the project, the software platform, the team and their responsibilities while doing the work of a PMO - working on the average of 10 hours a day, including lunch breaks - so sue me for wanting a vacation. Well, I got it... and I thought that this would be my 'me' day. A day totally devoted to me wanting to just rest - after I brought everyone to their respective locations (Bernice and Bryce to their respective schools and Barbie to work).
It is here that as I type out at my laptop, I notice my two dogs blissfully asleep near me - happy to note that one of their human keepers has decided to say with them - rather than the usual experience of being left at home while we all do our respective stuff. I mean, even if we do leave them with Vicky, I guess they know she's not really one of their masters - despite her feeding them and giving them an occasional bath. Oh well... guess they know who their real masters are.
Its times like these that I would envy them whenever I think of how they just probably laze around the entire day (as they seem to be doing now) - well not today, as I freely join them. Now, how long will I be able to enjoy this? That is something I will think of in a while... or maybe tomorrow. Today I'm simply singing Bruno Mars' Lazy Song.
