This is a lamp cover (or shade) that I noticed in a restaurant, and since I'm always on the lookout for nice patterns to experiment with in taking pictures, this one obviously got my attention.
After all, its just a mundane lamp or light cover - but such is the lot of photographers - and I'd like to count myself as one of these people... so having spotted the pattern, I opted to take the shot.
I had to adjust the shot a bit to make sure there was no overexposure ot the picture - while maintaining the fact that the light would not overly expose the shot (and ruin the pattern I was trying to capture). Even then, I had to strengthen the contrast in post editing to better show said patterns.
