It's show time... as this picture shows the simulation - which we were practicing the day before, being run. Notice the three projectors being used? This is to show our observers what exactly is happening in each PC (or laptop) so they can see how each participant's viewpoint will look like. It also hopes to give them a bird's eye view of what the issues handling process will look like.
I must say that the simulation went well - the officers got a better handle on what to expect, and they even got some comments / suggestions written down for us to consider. The simulation was likewise an eye-opener to them in terms of how certain transactions will be happening (i.e. no instant gratification in some situations... thus bringing to a more real level of expectation, what they will see in the Go Live date. If anything, this proves that the simulation was a success - and I won't be surprised if succeeding releases likewise adopt this practice (we were actually the first release to do this).
