Its been ages since I've had this... I remember really enjoying milk shakes, except when they were too thick that I felt like gaining mumps just drinking them through the straw. My favorites would normally be either chocolate or vanilla.
All these memories come back in a flash, as I watch Bernice take her Strawberry shake (from Pancake House), and even Barbie was tempted to give it a taste. Me? I held out. After all, what is great to enjoy during one's childhood days may not be equally as great to have (even if the taste says otherwise) when one gets closer to being a senior citizen... not that I'm that close - mind you. I've still a decade before I'm officially recognized as such.
Anyway, going back to the shake - Bernice liked this one (no surprise here) and so did Barbie (again, not surprised), which led to our buying half a gallon of strawberry ice cream and milk, with the understanding that I would make some milkshakes at home (now, that was a surprise to me).
