Day 94, Jul 11, 2011

Sigma book:

I know, the title is not Sigma, but the book is all about some characters I've been following for quite some time now... namely Gray Pierce, Painter Crowe and company. Simply put this is the fourth... maybe fifth book about these characters - and what makes this exciting is the fact that each Sigma Force adventure is a mix of old world mysteries - with new (or neo) science mixed into the brew.

I decided to get this book without batting an eyelash, and am really glad I was able to find myself a copy (of course, later it wasn't as if the copies would be sold out or anything, but I did not want to risk having to wait a long time before I got a copy of this book and started to read the adventures of Crowe and company.

This particular book's mystery seems connected or intertwined with the American history (from the time of Thomas Jefferson), and how certain secrets long dormant, are suddenly activated - to the world's chagrin. Yup... if its a James Rollins book - and most especially, a Sigma Force book, it will automatically mean that the story will involve fast paced, high octane adventure. Heck, I'm sorely tempted to drop the book I am currently reading in favor of picking this one up and starting to enjoy it's pages... but noooo... I should have- and do have better self control regarding that.
