These two shoes are courtesy of my added income in the U2K2 project. Not that the project got them for me - but rather, due ot what I get in the project, I could now afford to get these shoes two weeks apart.
Lord knows I'm overdue with new shoes and although my current Rockport is still very much usable - and I still use it, I found the opportunity to get myself two more pairs for my office use.
Specially since Buffy had destroyed my only brown show - and a nice shoe it was, I had to contend myself with just my black shoe. You see, Rockports are a bit pricey - but they are worth the price due to the quality that the shoes offer. I mean, of all the Rockports I've had (minus the one destroyed by Buffy), these shoes of mine lasted years before I needed to retire them - or change them. Heck, the first Rockport I had was relatively still whole... and this was almost a decade ago. Small wonder that I got myself new pairs and I've stuck to the brand out of loyalty to a very durable and comfortable product.
