This is a long overdue visit - originally scheduled in time for Barbie's dad's birthday last June, something happened which made Barbie disappointed enough not to push through with the plan.
In fact, said disappointment even made her decide not to see or talk to Bea before the latter went off for Dubai. I suspect that this might have even continued all the way to Christmas, had it not been for the fact that her father had to undergo a critical operation (to bypass a cancer blocking his waste tracks)... and fail. That made everyone realize that their father may not be around for long, and in retrospect, they had to once again unite - Barbie more so, to help support their dad.
Naturally, one of the highlights of the visit - aside from seeing Dad, was to see Jude Brent, and realize just how he's adjusting to the fact that his mom isn't around. Well, Barbie and I played a bit with him - and he looked, for the most part, as his usual happy self. This picture has a story in itself... Jude apparently uses the chair that has been laid down as his makeshift command center (I'm only guessing of course), and when Barbie sat at his place, he wanted her out of it. Possessive isn't he? He he he.
