Yup, Gina had a prior appointment (she had a previously scheduled reunion with classmates to celebrate someone's 50th birthday by wya of a ballroom dancing theme) and so, Jinky had to step in and take Gina's place in PADS.
Good thing too, since I've not fully grasped how PADS runs as I've always been pulled out of my prevoious sessions for one reason or another - hence this is the first time I was able to handle PADS from start to finish (hurrah!).
Jinky's style is more relaxed but she still gets to share a lot of ideas with her participants - and in PADS, she seems to be in her element. I admire her dedication as well - considering that 1) this is a Saturday and 2) she lives all the way in Laguna. I wouldn't do this if I were her. Lucky for me, she wasn't like me, huh?
As it is, we got ot finish only slightly ahead of plan - but finish we did - to our participants' relief and applause. Just like I did when taking Gina's pic - I did not use the flash - nor the zoom lens for this; relying instead on the camera's settings for ISO, focus and aperture - in other words all manual baby. Nice to know I'm getting a hang of things. Oh yeah... and now officially ends my first full week in training; well, with exception to Wednesday's driving with Barbie - but that was only because the originally scheduled training that day was cancelled.
