Day 126, Aug 12, 2011

Breakfast at Figaro's CG3:

As I have been more often than not conducting Cyber 3 trainings only on Saturdays, I would notice the Figaro's at the building's ground level as always closed. Too bad since I felt I wanted to take coffee - and eat there, as I often do when in McKinley or Greenhills.

Unfortunately, such was not the case - as for some reason (and I suspect it has to do with much less human traffic during weekends) this branch remains closed - not mindful of the potential sales it can have on Saturdays, to say the least. Still, since my PADS training with Gina took me here on a weekday, I was finally able to try out the place via their breakfast dish of bangus (milkfish) belly and fried eggs, I thought 'what the hey - why not?', and I really enjoyed the meal. The brewed coffee was also nice - though I would have preferred the one I would normally order when in Figaro... namely their Batangas brew (mixed coffee blend that included the famous Batangas Barako coffee.
