Day 76, Jun 23, 2011

Garden:

Yes, for those who pass along the Greenbelt area, you will recognize the  picture's background  as the bridgeway between Greenbelt 3 and the chapel in the middle of the garden/park.

The foreground is of course the pile of stones and rocks - forming a zen-like design that separates the rest of the garden with the fishpond that surrounds the chapel.

Now, though I'm not into gardening - with exception ot my aquarium, I do recognize great looking patters, and this garden - because of its simplicity, attracted my attention. I said zen-like, because it reminds me of Japanese-style gardens that place boulders and sand as its main materials - then, perhaps using a rake, make patterns in the sand - simple and continuous patterns that result in a tranquil-inducing design.

Then again, as I think about it... maybe this picture better reminds me of those obelisks in Solomon island... that is, if I got my travel geography right.
