Day 214, Nov 08, 2011

Ma paying her respect:

Though they were hardly seeing each other, it would seem that dad and ma were both praying for each other and that somehow formed a bond of camaraderie between them. So when dad was hospitalized, ma wanted to know how he was doing - not out of morbid curiosity, but out of genuine concern.

Then when dad was turning for the worse, she suggested Barbie and me already talk to Tito (or Ninong) Frankie Malabed - just to make sure that should the need arise, we would be ready. Finally, when dad passed away, she insisted to go down from Batangas (she rarely leaves her house or the compound for that matter) to pay her respects. So technically, this is a rare shot of her not in Batangas.

Yeah... I'm sporting a rather longer beard here, as I had not found the time (nor need really) to trim things or shave.
