These decors help highlight the season of Christmas, and basically help put some 'spirit' or 'atmosphere' in the room - of course, they're not the only decors in the living room area, but they do add those little reminders when you state at the library - and who wouldn't want to stare at my library?
These figurines have been around for several years now and I sometimes get surprised with how I use them. Just a few years ago, I would put them together to form a mini diorama of Christmas related activities in the imaginary North pole... be it around the phone or elsewhere at any convenient table top. This year, though, since we have a toddler guest over the weekends (Jude Brent), I had to make sure these figurines are not within the kid's reach, hence their positioning at the top shelf of the library shelves. Who would have thought that it would look great against the backdrop of graphic novels?
