Th ceremony looks both impressive for their colors, and heartwarming for their messages. Its also steeped with meaning, as the Knights of Colombus, Cavite chapter, gave homage to their past Grand Knight - Kit Buenaobra.
It was interesting to watch, and even if to this day I have yet to know the entire reason for the organization's goal, I would have to say that this evening was memorable, as the Knights presented Barbie's family with three symbolical gifts - a chalice, a flag and a sword. As for the ceremony itself - it was rather long... sometimes unwinding, but nonetheless much needed by the family. Specially since these talks gave them a glimpse of who he was - and not just by way of pictures... but through the sharing of stories of how dad touched their lives.
