This is Bubbles now. I did mention that I would post an after dog-spa/shaving experience, and this is it.
Notice how furry she still is at the tail and at the mane area (where her shoulder would be), notice how short her hair is in the rest of her body and feet?
Apparently, she feels a whole lot fresher - and we get to treat some wounds that recently came out of her body (possibly caused by food given her - ones that should not be given dogs, by the neighbors, or someone in the house). Needless to say, the shedding has been minimized - but not totally stopped. She's happy - not exactly feeling ashamed or sad... and who knows? Maybe we will make this a more regular practice - the neighbors seem to like her new look too, by the way. I bet in a way, this made her more proud of her new look.
